The MHS swim team participated this past Tuesday in its first set of dual meets.  The meet which was held in the aquatic center at Converse College in Spartanburg allowed the MHS team to swim against both Dorman and Boiling Springs combining two dual meets into one event.  MHS had a great showing at both meets with what is considered a very young team.  Approximately 80% of the 2011 team are Juniors or younger.  The Seniors represent a very experienced group of both male and female swimmers and will aide with the younger swimmers growth.  Several swimmers qualified for the State Championship (*-automatic), (**-consideration) with their swims this week.  The scores for this weeks dual meets are:
