The MHS swim team participated this past Tuesday in its second set of dual meets.  The meets which were held in the YMCA aquatic center in Duncan allowed the MHS team to swim against both JL Mann and Byrnes combining two dual meets into one event.  MHS had a great showing against both teams showing again the strength of this growing team.  MHS Female swimmers demonstrated success in a variety of events that their coaches assigned to them as they continue to face the varioius teams within the division and qualify for the state championships later in October.  Facing one of the strongest teams in the state this year (JL Mann) the swimmers swam hard and showed the positive attitude of atheletes in their loss but the championship spirit in beating Byrnes.  Several swimmers qualified for the State Championship (*-automatic), (**-consideration) with their swims this week.
