The Mavs swam their way to a 4th place finish in the competitive Region II AAAA Championship meet held at Westside Aquatic Center on Saturday, October 1st.

In their second meet at their home pool, the MHS swim team scored a win against Hillcrest.

The Mavs met the Warriors at Brookside Pool for the first home meet of the year on Tuesday, September 20th.  Our young Mauldin team showed their competitive spirit in the loss against Riverside, which has one of the strongest teams in the state.  

MHS Swim Team travels to the Charleston area on Sept 10 to again represent the Upstate in the Annual Swimin in Da Crick Meet.  The meet hosts several of the Coastal High School swim teams to compete in one venu.

MHS Swim Team Competed in their 2nd set of two dual meets for 2011 on Aug 30 against JL Mann and Byrnes. MHS Male and Female swimmers beat Byrnes and hang tough against JL Mann

The 2011 Mav swim team will have its annual intra squad Orange/Brown meet this Thursday, Aug 11 at 630pm, warmups begin at 600pm. Brookside Community Pool, Mauldin

Danielle Gayler a rising junior at Maulding High School and a member of the Mavs swimming team, qualified for a opportunity to swim in the 2012 Olympic Time Trials in the 200 Backstroke.  

After a midnight try out session and lots of time trials, the Mauldin High Swim Team had their first practice Wednesday, August 3rd, at 6am at Brookside Pool.  Coach Gettys and Coach Hynum scaled the team down to 42 from the 60 who came to the first try-out. 

Congratulations to Mauldin Swimmers - Jackson Gaido, Pearson Mann, Morgan Brooks, Liz Mooney, and Ali Galyer who are all part of the Middle Tyger YMCA swim team that just won the 2011 YMCA National Championship!!

Congratulations to Mauldin ('11) swimmer Alex Stone! Alex was awarded the 2011 SAIL female senior scholarship recipient, sponsored by Greenville first Bank. It is given each year to one male and female senior swimmer. Alex has swam SAIL for 15 years. She got to throw out the first pitch at the Drive Game last night and was presented the Scholarship!!
