Boy's Tennis Finish Season with Record of 18-3

The Boy's Tennis Team traveled to Columbia 3-5-11 to take on reigning State Champs Spring Valley.  The whole team fought and competed great.  We had a chance to win the match until the very end.  Three of our matches went to third set tiebreakers.  The team was confident that if we could have gotten to that decisive #1 doubles match that we would have won.  For the second year in a row the draw for the play-offs put two of the top teams in the state playing each other in the second round which is unfortunate.

Final selections for the State Singles Championships will be made in about a week or so.  Coach Taylor believes that there is a very good chance that some of our guys will be selected.
The End of Season Banquet and Awards Dinner will be held on Thursday, May 19th, at 6:30pm at Quaker Steak.  This is always a great time of fellowship for the players and their families.
