Boys Lacrosse Scores Big Win Over Riverside

Mavs Win Against Riverside 9-6

The Mauldin Mavs boys lacrosse team played one of their best games of the season in route to a 9-6 win over the Riverside Warriors on Tuesday night at home.  The Mavs record improves to 6-6 overall and 3-3 in conference. 

The Mavs jumped out ahead of the Warriors early in the first quarter and never relinquished the lead .  Goalie Jake Norman recorded a season high number of saves (22), and takeaways by longpoles Barbrey, Shuba, Bradshaw, Douglas, and Jones allowed the offense to do their part. Keaton Mashtare contributed with 9 won faceoffs.  Goals were scored by Barefoot (4), Bassie (3), Bloomquist, and Flick.  Assists were recorded by Borgelt (2), Barefoot, Bassie, and Asmus.  For more complete stats, go to Max Prep.
