The Boy's Tennis Team raised $942.67 at Pizza Inn Thursday night, 3-1-12. The Owner of Pizza Inn said that he was going to give a donation so I will annouce the final total when we receive the check. The crowds were great - thanks to everyone for coming out! In speaking with the manager of Pizza Inn, I said "our guys do a very good job", he said "no, they do an awesome job year after year. They are tops as far as groups go running this restaurant". In speaking with a family not associated with Mauldin High School that stopped in for dinner, the dad asked for details of what was going on, I explained and then he said "this is awesome, these guys are so courteous and hard working. It's great to see a team working so hard to fund their expenses for the season". I noticed that this same family who had no ties to the team layed down a $40 tip when they left. I say all of this to share how proud everyone should be of the young men on this team. They are a great group of guys who are awesome ambassadors for Mauldin High School.
