Annual Shoe Drive

The MAVS Booster Club is having our 2nd annual shoe drive. We  need ANY shoe in ANY condition. Boots, sneakers, flip flops, cleats, heels, baby shoes..... ANY shoe. Please consider gathering your old shoes and asking anyone else you know who may have shoes they need to get rid of. What do we do with the shoes? They are shipped to third world countries to create micro enterprise. The shoes become inventory for villagers to sell and they also receive training on how to repair soles and stitching footwear; to further increase their income. Additionally you will be keeping the shoes out of landfills. Soles from shoes do not break down in the landfill. We will be accepting shoes in the Mauldin High School Parking lot facing E Butler rd. (701 E Butler rd., Mauldin, SC 29662) We will be there EVERY Saturday in March. March 7, 14, 21 & 28 (10am-2pm) You can also drop them off at the school office or email us to pick up bags of 25 pairs shoes or more. Our email address is mavsboosterclub@gmail.com. Thank you for your support GO MAVS!
