Saturday, March 15th, the Lady Mavs traveled to Charleston to play 3 games and won all 3 making their record 5-2. Their first game was against 'Bishop England' which they won 14-6. Next they played against 'Socastee' and won 12-7. The final game was against the 'Charleston Patriots' and the Mavs won 17-5. MAVS Soccer player Mike McNamara was named Offensive MVP at the Mauldin Cup Tournament this weekend.

Mavs lost in their Region opener 13-12 in the bottom of the 7th in a heartbreaker to Boiling Springs. After trailing the majority of the game; the Mavs tied up the game in the top of the 7th only to lose in the bottom of the 7th with a walk off homerun. It was an excellent, well played, and hard fought battle. Seeing time on the mound was Chris Cox, Kyle Logan, Todd Gray, and Madison Younginer.

Mavs won 2 against Eastside high Wednesday night. The final scores are 5-1 ans 3-2. On the mound was Ben Carlson and Todd Gray. Coming through in a big way was Brad Huffling with a triple in the 4th dring in 2 runs to go ahead. Mavs play at Boiling Springs Friday night at 6:00pm.

Lady MAVS move to 2-0 in region play with win against DormanElizabeth Williamson picked up the win with 18 strikeouts. Kenzi Corn (2-3, 3B, 2 runs) Jordan Stovall (2-4, 2B, 1run), and Dana Landers (2-4, 2 2B, RBI, 2 runs) were the leaders at the plate.

JV faced Hillcrest on Monday as they opened their 2008 season. A good showing; they defeated Hillcrest 5-2 as Parker Hudson, Trent Rosamond, and Adam Charmberlain shared duties on the mound.
Wendy's Heisman winner, Becca Brown represented Mauldin High in the All Star Basketball game on Saturday night in Spartanburg. Becca will also be playing in the Greenville All Star game at Woodmont High on March 21st! Congrats, Becca!
