Athletes excel in classroom!

Posted in Headlines by SandyLawson

Congratulations to the Mauldin High School Athletic Department and our coaches, players, parents, and teachers. During the 2013-2014 school year, MHS Athletes posted a combined grade point average of 3.728!

To put that into perspective, the student body at Mauldin High School posted a 3.305 GPA for the school year, showing that our student athletes out-performed the student body in GPA.

21 of our 22 sports posted a year end GPA of over 3.0. Girls Cross Country had the highest GPA at 4.408 and Boys soccer had the highest GPA for a male sport at 4.073.

The sport at MHS with the most participants (Football), earned a 3.091 GPA for the year.

Mauldin High School continues our excellence both in the classroom and on the athletic field, and our student athletes proved we are achieving that excellence in both areas. Congratulations to everyone involved in this great accomplishment in athletics!
