Senior Sean Wright making Headlines!

Posted in Headlines by SandyLawson

Senior Sean Wright has amazed his teammates and coaches this year with his talent.  Sean gave it his all in the 4x400 relay at the State Qualifier and then had less than five minutes to recover and try the triple jump.  He missed qualifying in that event by a few inches but Sean is the number 3 seed in the 400 hurdles for the state meet.  Sean did not compete in the 400 dash to focus on his hurdle event.  Those tactics worked for him as he dropped his time by two seconds in the 400 hurdles.  Sean will race on Saturday at Spring Valley High School at 10:45 a.m.  along with his teammates Eric Lawson, Alyssa Kulik, Hannah Morgan, Lexi Neiling, Kathleen Jacob and Caroline McDonough.   Good luck, MAVS!!
