Varsity Boy's Tennis Wins Scrimmage vs. Seneca 7-0. Your MAVS hosted Seneca on Tuesday, 2-21-12. Coach Taylor sat out the top three players allowing the rest of the team to bring home a 7-0 victory. The 4 thru 8 singles players were moved up to play the starting 1-5 positions and rose to the occasion winning decisively.

HELP SUPPORT OUR MHS ATHLETES BY BUYING A SMOOTHIE FROM SMOOTHIE KING ON FRIDAY, 2/ 24 AT LUNCH

On Friday, February 24, Smoothie King will be in the cafeteria selling their 12 oz. smoothies for $3.00 and their 20 oz. for $4.50. A dollar from every sale will go into the Booster Club Budget to support all of our athletes.

Boys golf tryouts will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 4:15 at Holly Tree. You must have a physical to try out. See Coach Harrelson in room B221 if you have any questions.

Valedictorian and Salutatorian of the Class of 2012 Announced Mauldin High School has officially pronounced Kelsey Byrd as the valedictorian and Sandra Siatkowski as the salutatorian of the Class of 2012. MHS is proud of both girls for their continued hard work and outstanding record of academic excellence throughout their high school careers.

The Mauldin Boys Tennis Team will take a break from serving tennis balls and will be serving Greenville's best pizza at Pizza Inn, 2001 Woodruff Rd on March 1st from 4:30 til 10pm. All tips will go to the team to help offset the seasons' expenses. LETS MAKE THIS YEAR OUR BIGGEST EVENT EVER! Come out and support the team!

Class of 2008 Honor graduates Becca Brown and Alyssa Kulik were awarded a post graduate scholarship by the ACC.  Becca Brown is on the Clemson Rowing Team and Alyssa Kulik is on the Clemson Cross Country and Track Team. Congratulations, Ladies!!

10 Mavs qualify for the Upper State Tournament! Congrats!

Tennis try outs will begin Monday, Jan 30th at 4:05 on the tennis courts. ALL paperwork needs to be completed before you will be allowed to try out. If you have any questions, see Coach Taylor.

Try-outs for the Varsity and JV baseball teams will begin Monday, January 30. Varsity try-outs will be held Monday and Tuesday and JV try-outs will be held Wednesday through Friday. You must have a physical to participate. If you are playing a winter sport and plan on trying out, see Coach Jim Maciejewski for more information.

Lady Mavs 20 WIN SEASON!!!!

Mauldin High Lady Mavericks finish the regular season wth a 20-4 record. First 20 win season in basketball at Mauldin in 15 years! Congratulations Coach Bell on being a part of the last one as a player and this one as a coach.

They travel to Wren on Tuesday night. Tip off at 7pm for first round of playoffs. Let"s make the trip to support these girls who have put together one of the best seasons in 15 years. GO MAVS!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to MHS alumni Alyssa Kulik ('08) who set yet another Clemson Indoor track & field record in the 1000 and the Distance Medley Relay!  Way to go, Alyssa!

There will be a mandatory parent meeting for all Boys Lax players on Wednesday, 1/18, at 6:00pm in the auditorium at MHS.

Track sprinters, jumpers and throwers workouts will start on January 23rd at 4:00. All athletes interested in running track who have not played a fall or winter sport needs to have a physical completed before coming to track workouts. Insurance fee is $47. Physical forms,Steadman Hawkins consent forms, Extra Curricular Responsibility Acknowledgement form can be printed off the school website or can be picked up in the main office or in Coach Dion's classroom.
