SENIOR DAY 2009 CELEBRATED

Pictured below is Senior Dustin Wagers with his parents Ross & Deana Wagers.  Dustin has played for Mauldin one year and played high school tennis in Florida for 4 years prior.  He started playing at age 7.  Dustin plans to attend Clemson University and major in Engineering.  What Dustin likes most about the tennis team is the close friendships he has made.  He will miss all of his friends and the solid tennis team that Mauldin has had this year. 

Pictured below is Senior Will Finlay and his parents Luke and Lee Ann Finlay.  Will has played tennis for Mauldin for 5 years.  He started playing tennis when he was 12 years old.  Will plans to attend Clemson University majoring in Pre-Business.  What Will liked most about this season was "winning".  Will will miss his friends and the good food provided by the parents for the matches.

 Your Mavs participated in the Bulldog Invitational High School Tournament held on the USC Upstate Campus on March 20 and 21, 2009.  They defeated Woodruff, Dorman, and Boiling Springs before being defeated in the finals by Travelers Rest.  Our win over Boiling Springs avenged a Region loss to them the day before.  :)

We finished 2nd out of the 16 teams competing.
