The Mauldin High School baseball program prides itself on a long and rich tradition dating back to the 1970's.  Along the way, the Mavericks have posted 8 Region Championships, 5 Upper State Championships, and 3 State Championships.  To go with the success of the program, Mauldin has sent countless players to play collegiately, as well as to the professional ranks.

2014 Region Champs!


April 22, 2014 -Mauldin baseball beat Spartanburg 10-0 to clinch the Region 2-AAAA championship. THe Mavs' first region title since 2004.

The Mauldin High School varsity baseball team won the Region Championship Tuesday night by defeating Spartanburg High School 10-0! MHS improved to 16-4 overall and 10-2 in the Region. 

Senior Brandon Justice earned his 5th win of the season throwing a complete game 3 hit shutout. Junior Grant Fuller and Sophomore Grant Bodison had 3 hits apiece, and Senior’s Daniel Johnson and Cory Bynum had 2 hits each.

The Spring Sports season has begun! GoMavs.net is looking for parent volunteers to work on the team webpages. Instructions and training are available via email or in person. Consider Co-reporting with another parent. 

Here is the information flow for team news on GoMavs.net 

1. Coach posts to team Facebook page or tweets to Twitter account. Team website reporter copies info to GoMavs team page.


2. Coach posts to Gvl County athletics website or other team website. Team website reporter copies info to GoMavs team page.


3. Team website reporter or the Coach directly adds team news to GoMavs team pages. 

Once the team news is added to the team page, then Kelly Wilson will feature certain stories on the front page of GoMavs.net.
