Fall Practice Begins Nov 1st

The Boys Lacrosse Team will begin Fall practice at Hughes Middle School on November 1st and will continue until November 18th.

Boys Lax Wins in First Round of Playoffs

The Mavs boys lacrosse team went to Spartanburg on Wednesday for a rematch with the Spartanburg Vikings, and came away with a first round playoff victory.  The boys went into half time with a 9 - 2 lead, and after a breif rally of 4 unanswered goals by Spatanburg in the 3 quarter, the Mavs got tough and finished strong, beating the Vikings by a score of 15-8.  The Mavs travel to Sirrine Stadium on Saturday at 6:30 to play the defending state champion Greenville Red Raiders.  LETS GO MAVS!!

Boys Lax Team Wins Big at Eastside

The boys lacrosse team finished their regular season with a convincing 19-3 win over the Eastside Eagles on Friday night.  A five game winning streak puts the Mavs' overall record at 9 - 6.  The Mavs will begin post season play at Spartanburg on Wednesday.  LET'S GO MAVS!

Mavs Celebrate Seniors Before Hillcrest Game

 

The boys’ lacrosse team recognized their senior players before the last home game of the regular season on Friday night.  They team went on to win against Hillcrest in their final conference game by a score of 14 - 2.   This win puts the Mavs at the top of their region.  Way to go MAVS, and special congratulations to the 14 senior boys who will finish their high school lacrosse careers at the conclusion of this season.  We are very proud of you.
