Mauldin Beats Hilton Head High School
 
Mauldin’s Boys Lacrosse team gave one of the state’s top-ranked schools a run for its money on March 24th ending in a narrow win for Heathwood Hall Episcopal School with a score of 23 to 15. Following that game the Mavericks took on Hilton Head High School and sailed to a 12-9 Mauldin win over another top school. Scoring for the Mavericks in the weekend games were Phillip Nelson, Justin Smith, Bryson Baltz, Adam Maalouf, Eric Allred and Jon Baddley. 
 
All Mavericks are encouraged to support the lacrosse team as they face Greenville High March 27th at Sirrine Stadium and Woodmont High on Thursday night, March 29th, in the Mauldin High stadium. Both games start at 8 p.m. and will be preceeded by girls games at 6 p.m. Come out and cheer on the Mavericks!
 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Mauldin Defeats Wade Hampton
 
Mauldin’s Boys Lacrosse team battled it out with Wade Hampton on the lacrosse field on March 20 and ended the night in a victory. With a score of 11-9, those making goals for the Mauldin Mavericks were Phillip Nelson, Justin Smith, Adam Maalouf and Jon Baddley.

Takes Down the NC Storm
 
The Mauldin Mavericks pounded the NC Storm on the lacrosse field Tuesday night, March 13. Mauldin’s Boys Lacrosse team sailed to a 17-2 win over the Asheville team. Maverick scorers included Justin Smith with five goals; Phillip Nelson and Jon Baddley with three goals each; Bryson Baltz, two goals; and Sergio Torricos, Eric Allred, Joey Fuson and Adam Maalouf with one goal each.

Mauldin’s Boys Lacrosse team experienced a narrow defeat on March 6. J.L. Mann squeaked past the Mavericks with an 8-6 win. High scorers for the game were Senior Justin Smith with three goals and Sophomore Adam Maalouf with two goals.

The rivalry between the Mauldin Mavericks and the Hillcrest Rams was played out on the lacrosse field on Friday night, March 2, with Mauldin clearly coming out on top. Mauldin’s Boys Lacrosse team notched their record up to 2-0 as they defeated the Rams 15-4High scorers for the game were Senior Justin Smith with four goals and Senior Phillip Nelson and Sophomore Jon Baddley with three goals each.
