JV Lady Mavs Defeat Riverside in Two
The JV Lady Mavs Defeated Riverside, at Riverside on Tuesday, October 18th with a score of 22-15 and 25-22. Leading the team in kills were Sarah Turner, Corrine Willmerdinger, Abby Chew, Lauren Bone and Emma Hauser. Leading the team in aced serves were Sarah Turner, Corinne Willmerdinger, Hannah Wampler and Abby Chew. Courtney Miller, Corrine Wilmerdinger, Hannah Wampler, and Abby Chew led the team in digs. The Mavs take on cross town rivals Hillcrest on Thursday, October 20th for the last season game. Game time is 5:30. Come support your Lady Mavs!!
Mavs Defeat Wade Hampton in Two
The JV Lady Mavs defeated Wade Hampton in two 25-17, 25-17 on Wednesday night at Wade Hampton. Leading the team in kills were Courtney Miller, Sarah Turner, Lauren Bone, Nadine Hernandez, Emily Heeke, Morgan Lyon, Laura Mann, Corinne Willmerdinger, and Jenifer Moreno. Sarah Turner, Hannah Wampler, Emily Heeke, Morgan Lyon and Emma Hauser led the team in aced serves. Leading the team in digs were Courtney Miller, Emma Hauser, Hannah Wampler and Emily Heeke. The JV Lady Mavs take on Riverside at Riverside on Tuesday, October 18th and finish the season at home on Thursday, October 20th vs Hillcrest. Game times are 5:30. Mavs Win in Two
After a come from behind win in the first game, the JV Lady Mavs beat JL Mann 25-23, 25-13. The Mavs fought back to win the first game and were down at one point 17-9. Sarah Turner, Lauren Bone, Hannah Wampler and Corinne Willmerdinger led the team in kills. Nadine Hernandez, Lauren Bone, Corinne Willmerdinger and Emma Hauser led the team in aced serves. Courtney Miller, Charissa Pichai, Nadine Hernandez, Hannah Wampler and Emma Hauser led the team in digs. The last time these two teams met, the JV Lady Mavs won in three games. Next week the Mavs travel to Dorman on Tuesday, October 11th and Wedneday, October 12th to Wade Hampton. The Mavs then travel to Riverside on Tuesday, October 18th and finish the season at home against Hillcrest on October 20th. Game times are 5:30. Mavs Defeat Byrnes in Two
The Mauldin JV Lady Mavs defeated Byrnes High at home in two games! The first game was easily won 25-13, but Byrnes battled back in the second game only to lose 25-23. Leading the team in kills were Sarah Turner, Lauren Bone, Corrine Willmerdinger, and Hannah Wampler. Leading the team in aced serves were Emma Hauser, Lauren Bone and Sarah Turner. Courtney Miller led the team in digs along with Hannah Wampler, Nadine Hernandez, Morgan Lyon and Emily Heeke. The Lady Mavs travel to JL Mann on Thursday, October 6th. Game time is at 5:30. The JV Lady Mavs defeated Boiling Spring at home in two- 25-19, 26-24. Sarah Turner served the last two serves in game two ending a tough game 26-24. Leading the team in attacks were Sarah Turner, Lauren Bone, and Nadine Hernandez. Sarah Turner, Emma Hauser, Nadine Hernandez and Abby Chew led the team in aced serves. Leading the team in digs were Courtney Miller, Emma Hauser, Abby Chew, and Charissa Pichai. The Lady Mavs host Byrnes on Tuesday, Oct. 4th and travel to JL Mann on Thursday, Oct. 6th.
