The Tennis Team has started the season very strong with 5 team wins. We have two home matches this week on Wednesday and Thursday against Riverside and Dorman, respectively. Both of these visiting teams are strong so come out ,(weather permitting), and support your MAVS.

OUTSTANDING RESULTS FROM TENNIS FUNDRAISER
Congratulations to the Boys Tennis Team for an outstanding fundraiser at Pizza Inn. Thanks to everyone that came out to support them. The teams' hard work earned $1,069.81, (amount undate 3-5-10), in tips and donations, with the potential for an additional donation from the owner of Pizza Inn. Thanks to Coach Taylor and all of the parents that helped. The manager said, "This is the hardest working group of High School students I have seen". Thanks to the team for being great representatives of Mauldin High.

EVERYONE, PLEASE REMEMBER TO COME TO PIZZA INN ON THURSDAY, MARCH 4, BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 4:30PM AND 10:00PM. THE TENNIS PLAYERS WILL BE WORKING THE RESTAURANT AND ALL TIPS GO TO THE TEAM SO PLEASE BE GENEROUS. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE.

The Boys Tennis Team played their first home match against Travelers Rest Thursday night. Fighting a strong team from Travelers Rest that has three top ranked players in the state and the bitter cold, your MAVS were victorious winning 6 to 1. Way to go guys, keep up the good work.

The Boy's Tennis Team will have their first home scrimmage of the season Thursday, February 25th, at MHS against Travelers Rest High School. This should be a hard fought match as both teams have strong players. Come out and support your MAVS. The match should get started around 4:45 to 5PM.

Your 2010 Boys Tennis Team was selected yesterday by Coach Lee Taylor. Their season kicks into full gear the first week of March. The schedule is posted on the Team home page. Come out and support what is going to be an extremely strong team this year.
